The Advalytix Cell Extraction Kit uses a unique blend of enzymes from thermophilic microorganisms for cell lysis and DNA extraction. All reagents have been optimized for the use on AmpliGrid AG480F slides. Usually an initial denaturation phase during a PCR run seemed to be sufficient to destroy the cell integrity and make the DNA available for the reaction. With the Advalytix Cell Extraction Kit even easy-to crack cells now show improved PCR results. DNA bands appear brighter on the gel and the reproducibility from one or few starting copies is increased significantly. For heat resistant cell types such as mouth epithelial cells it is now also for the first time possible to get reliable amplification results. The kit comes ready packed for the convenient use with a five pack of AmpliGrid AG480F slides.
